Sorry for cross posting. I have posted this on Bangalore lug mailing
list sometime back but got no response. I am hoping that there will be
someone on this list who can help.

A small academic organisation I am associated with is shifting its
office to Bangalore. The organisation is hoping to find office space
near Indira Nagar.

The organisation was earlier based in Kolkata where the setup was
something like this. The organisation has about 15 computers. Most
computers run linux (mostly ubuntu or debian), there are two macbooks
and a two or three computers running windows XP natively. Some linux
computers run windows XP over virtualbox for one or two applications.
The computers were networked: some computers were connected using
wires while others connected over wifi. There are three printers that
were used over the network (served by CUPS). One computer doubled up
as a database (MySQL) server to which most other computers need to
connect (using ODBC).

The entire setup is expected to move from Kolkata to Bangalore.

We are looking for a person/company to provide hardware/software
maintenance for the organisation in Bangalore.

Since the systems mainly run on linux, we are looking for a service
provider that can provide good support for it. The company will have
to provide maintenance, with promise of fixing problems in a specified
maximum time, and provision of substitutes if the problems cannot be
addressed. The company will have to ensure that its personnel are
adequately trained and can provide these services quickly, without
compromising security, and with least disruption to the users. The
personnel of the company will have to make regular visits (twice a
week) and do the routine administration.

If anyone (individuals, or individuals representing companies)
provides such services in Bangalore, please do get in touch.

I hope that we can find somebody to provide such support.
