That is what I do except that I run a full fledged mail server on a live domain. Of course I have a mail server product. So I better run it live. Now to answer your point on how you pull mail for all users and distribute it...I dunno. I have heard this but I dunno what people do. Can you clarify? > Presume one requires > (a) A static IP. > (b) Exim+mutt+Dovecot/postfix dusly configured. > 2. It is also an open invite. I can create a DNS record for you free of cost. And I can also run a Dyn DNS update for you too... But dyn DNS will not work with a mail server. I hope that is clear. > Wanted to link it to a text based messenger service finally. Link what with a text based service? Your mail gives me more questions than answers. Can you clarify? > 3. It is really not an advanced age. My US partner is not senile, lot of people in my relatives circle were active even in early 80s. So don't think like that. It just isn't true. As to GUI and text mode, well I like both. I use mutt and vim for mail and always prefer text mode but for customers I don't give that. I try to balance both. -Girish -- Gayatri Hitech http://gayatri-hitech.com _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
