Whitestreet IT is looking to sign up three new contractors for fulfilling the
following functions.
1. System Administrator
1. Administer Linux and Asterisk Servers, together with first level
remote support
for LANs on Linux, Windows and OS X desktop environments
2. Manage Asterisk PBX servers, web servers (some on cPanel), MySQl DB
servers
3. Primarily work is managing Asterisk PBX services and basic
understanding, if not work experience, is a must
4. Handle support tickets by email and / or phone. The tickets may be
internal help desk or direct from our customers
5. Scripting in PHP or PERL for network programming
2. Data Analyst - 1 contractor
1. Manage all aspects, including routine defined tasks as well creative
or exploratory systems building.
2. Environment - Remote Access to hosted servers and office locations
in the USA
3. Data servers on Linux MySQL and Windows MS-SQL servers, running
both open source as well as proprietary applications.
3. Web Applications developer
1. Develop web based applications and user interfaces
2. Develop and design websites
3. HTML, CSS, PHP, Ajax. All web applications are currently running on
LAMP stack and mostly Joomla CMS 2.5
4. Network programming - I/o socket implementation for Asterisk AGI /
AMI scripts
5. Understanding of MVC
6. Understanding of OWASP (or more generally, the security aspects of
web facing applications).
4. The following are common to all contractual positions
1. Keen eye for detail, quick learning skills, English communication
skills, self-driven with ability to work independently to define and create
business systems and processes. Ability to work with various tools
including command line utilities.
2. Estimated work load 40 hours a week, during USA Eastern Standard
business hours.
3. Work from home, show high availability of contractor.
4. Experienced candidates and freshers are welcome
5. Start immediately
6. Budget is around Rs.35,000/- per month to start with.
7. Annual contract, which will be signed up after an initial contract
for the
period of one week.In case initial training is extended, such initial
contract will be extended to one month, after which the annual contract
will be signed.
