Thank You Raman P. I had checked the auth.log file and i had found that the users "mc11mt08" and "pavanp" are not able to login which is true. However they can login to NIS master from the client machines. The authentication problem is happening while they try to login to squirrelmail or ssh to Debian web & mail server.
