That is exactly what I mean. You are using Linux for more than 7 years. You are used to it. Even I like LibreOffice. Try and look at things from the perspective of a long time MS office user and you'll understand what I mean. I myself use LibreOffice / Claws mail / Thunderbird. I'm speaking about normal users, you know? Those who don't care about FOSS and stuff. People who just want to get their work done, and fast. I would like to suggest some thing you may not like: try googling something like, "openoffice sucks" or "why I hate openoffice" or something similar. I know that most are mere nonsensical rants and that many problems stated would have already been fixed in LibreOffice. But then, see what they mean when they say usability / ease - of -use / interface etc. I find LibreOffice pretty usable for myself.
