Even though I agree with you, We cannot deny the fact that they employ a 
lot of people which means, a lot of people get exposure to the outside 
world and they join the organized sector of the society. I have seen 
people with a science degree doing sales or driving taxi or something 
similar in the unorganized sector. But, Joining a large corporation 
changes their lifestyle, in general, for the better.

Just my 2 cents.
