oh great.. Who is the manufacturer of your Finger Print Reader?
Can you say which version of fedora are you using.
And in Validity Sensor's Website they have provided a Linux device driver
for the device but it is in rpm package and i think this is reason it works
in fedora, i tried to convert it to deb package using Alien, successfully
converted but it does not detects or i am not sure whether i am using it in
a correct way.
