Hi I too faced a similar problem when I upgraded my computer from Ubuntu 10.10 to Ubuntu 11.04. Couldn't find any fix and hence settled for Ubuntu 10.04. Is it because your hardware does not support Ubuntu 11.04? I wonder. Any help would be appreciated.
