While that _should_ be a sound choice, I would advise you to go with Centos 5 as of now till Centos 6.1 arrives. Please note that RHEL 6.0 to RHEL 6.1 release time was probaby a record in terms of release as *lot* of security and bug updates between them. ergo Centos which is yet to come out with 6.1. But that is the best one around if you consider the Base on which you are going to deploy your application. You have support of Centos till RHEL supports it -- 7 years. I remember reading somewhere Redhat is considering it to extend it to 10 years. Putting on the hat of software project manager, using RHEL/centos as your base is a no-brainer. Don't touch (even think about) Fedora, Ubnutu etc. as a server platform for new production apps. Above IMHO. -- Regards, Rajagopal _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
