(Why travel 1hr when my next house friend can do it?) I never met a person who serviced his TV in any Govt mandated service center (If at all such a one exists). So my thought is that Even if we make the Govt to go for FOSS; Will the users be ready? Think of playing Games in Linux. I bet thats the first thing most school children would do. So I think we are just pushing the expenditure away from govt and towards the children making the money to flow away from single Co to local service centers and such. I think most of you would also at sometime be approached for ** repairing ** the ** useless ** laptop and make it ** workable **( Read as "reformatting" the "Linux" and make it "boot Windows"). Don't read me wrong, but thats what most people think and would do. -- Regards P.Arunmozhi Twitter: @tecoholic Website: http://arunmozhi.in _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
