Looks like you will be using the Kernel Virtual Machine right?

If so, then I would suggest you start with the basics and learn how to
bring up a Guest OS in a KVM  from the command line (man kvm or man
qemu-kvm depending on your distro, brctl and tunctl).   IMO, one needs
to understand the basics of the virtualization platform of your choice
before attempting to go in to "cloud" computing i.e. using the
frameworks like eucalytpus.
