Eighteen months after it released
Symbian<http://www.broadbandgenie.co.uk/smartphones/symbian>into the
wild as an open-source platform, Nokia has announced that it will
be taking back the development of the OS.

In 2008 the company decided that it would open the OS up to developers,
allowing anyone to work with the underlying code "for any purpose". The idea
was to bring a wealth of new developers to the Symbian platform who would
then contribute to the development of the system, and more applications to
run on it.

But Since they didnt get any good response from developers side they are
taking it back.

is this possible in open source side?????
