The hub?  I suspect 192.168.1.1 is the broadband modem. Usually bb
modem's have two interfaces - public and local.

Yes, possible. Are the machines configured for static or dynamic IP address?
 Usually Broadband Modem/Routers  run DHCP service these days.

Why not open 192.168.1.1 in the browser? It's probably the modem.
If you have the credentials, login and see the configuration.
