Dear Luggies, I installed Ubuntu 10.10 in my Pentium-4 box with 512 mb ram and Intel 845 motherboard. The only option available in resolution settings window is 800x600. I tried
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg It didn't help. The same is the case with KDE also.
