Valid point. And if anyone is not following the list guidelines, instead of flaming him/her in the list, offer a personal help to understand the issue. That will improve relationship and harmony in the list. In the same thread, Somebody was asking about moderator. This list is unmoderated. That means, everyone in the list is responsible for what is going on the list.
