Coimbatore colleges -- especially the self-financing engg colleges -- have a

Karpagam Institute of Technology, Bodipalayam, Coimbatore Angel College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruppur United Institute of Technology, Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore Info Institute of Engineering, Kovilpalayam, Coimbatore Sengunthar Engineering College, Thiruchengode, Namakkal Dt. Sengunthar College of Engineering, Thiruchengode, Namakkal Dt. Excel College of Engineering for Women, Namakkal Dt. Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, Erode Dt. Now, all the above colleges have open source lab setup and many students were well exposed to them. Interested people may also approach these colleges for getting volunteers for LUG-Coimbatore In the next 6-8 months, I have planned to work closely with atleast 50+ engg. colleges in the coimbatore region in establishing open source labs and creating awareness among the students.
