Yes,These applications are installable for high memory phones.Some of
the phones restrict the size of the jar file to install.So large jar
files will not install (if we built a offline map the memory will be
high).

I am interested in develop such application to access the map using
GPRS or 3g,like Google maps as a final year project.
Is it useful for the people?
