Absolutely not. We decided to sell off our Palio because we were not happy
with "big" service provider and our favorite mechanic could not handle this
car because he could neither "afford" to buy or "maintain standards" for his
tiny shed to be approved to take an analyzer/setting up application from
Fiat.

Again, all I am trying to say is that it's not just Microsoft which is
taking away freedom from us. It's just that most of us are software geeks
and we can play around with source code and we feel freedom has been taken
away. I am sure there are lots of mechanically inclined people feel the same
way when the car they "bought" does not allow them to tweak with the engine
setting to make it work the way they want it to...
