Again, all I am trying to say is that it's not just Microsoft which is taking away freedom from us. It's just that most of us are software geeks and we can play around with source code and we feel freedom has been taken away. I am sure there are lots of mechanically inclined people feel the same way when the car they "bought" does not allow them to tweak with the engine setting to make it work the way they want it to...
