Yes. That was the real shocker for me... But as long as they comply to the
rules laid down by the Open Source Initiative / FSF, things are going to be
fine with Open Source within microsoft. What's astounding is the number of
open source projects they do..  They probably want to selfishly
get benefited out of it. But you can never say.. ;-)
