Ahh...good! I don't understand the difficulty in understanding this question. Anyways, let me break it up in to simpler sentences as you've asked for. Is it possible that we make the terminal, by default, display the output column names [like PID MEM etc] when you run a command [and that could be any command]. For example: ls -lh returns an output without the column names. I would want to see if there is a way to display the column names like PERMS, OWNER, GROUP, FILENAME, SIZE etc by default. >> All paid jobs absorb and degrade the mind. Thats my signature. Yes!
