Hi Subhojit,

Thanks for your response. This is something new and it will really help
me in other ways.
Actually my requirement is, while the Teacher teaches, it has to be live
on the speakers after amplification through the computer.

Thanks
subba

Take a look at sox. http://sox.sourceforge.net/

You could connect your mic into the laptop and do
sox -d -d

The amplified output will go into the speaker.

IMO, any business starts with an idea, followed up with implementation.

In the implementation you can choose either FOSS or proprietary tools
that meets your requirements. The key word is "requirement" - you and
only you can define the requirements based on your idea.

With giving any inkling about your businees idea, it is difficult to
comment.

Hi,

In my work place I am configuring squid. I was unable to configure the same.

I require your help on the same.

a) My proxy server has 2 NIC's eth0 is used for LAN "192.168.100.200" and
eth1 is used for outside world "192.168.1.7"

b) I would like to configure the squid for allowing mentioned / listed of
websites for my LAN users. other than these sites squid should not allow to
browse. say for example : wwww.manupatra.com, www.wipo.int, www.findlaw.com
etc.

I tried in google i am unable to understand. and it blocks entire sites,
even though i have mentioned in a file at
"/usr/local/etc/allowed-sites.squid"

Thanks in advance for your timely help.

YOUR'S

Suggest you use Squid Guard (www.squidguard.org) if you want
any website blocking/control on your Squid server. Squid Guard
is flexible and can scale up easily.

The mentioned website has plenty of docs on getting you started.
