I thought of writing the same thing and then realised --- perhaps these lazy people will become less lazy once they enter the dynamic world of *nix. If your remember events from a few years ago, there was a major problem in the international SSH usage system because of Debian. So we cannot claim to be totally pure either! Not only is there "more than one way to do it" but we can learn a lot by seeing how the other team does it.
