You can install Cygwin from http://www.cygwin.com

You can select their wide cornucopia of packages and you get every
single UNIX utility you can think of.

Even fork(2) works!

It is amazing.

Whenever I am forced to use Windows I do this.

Colinux or User mode linux is an alternative.

And it is also a fact that i am yet to a see a single person who is as
fond of UNIX as I.

Please do not assume and blow one's own trumpet. Does not win you friends and all your good work gets eclipsed by such statements. I can certainly tell you you are wrong here.

I see a lot of people in LUG who are in LUG without understanding a
thing about the charity side of open source or
they even openly claim that they can never give away something for free!

I also find that everyone I meet whether they be of academic
background or otherwise have a strong Windows experience.

This is due to a horde of reasons, not of their making. You've been forced to use Windows by your own admission.

Their UNIX experience falls short by a big degree.

Somehow for some reason my experience has been totally UNIX focussed.

Anyway I am waiting to meet someone like me some day.

It is high time you learned others suffer such statements of yours in this list. Acknowledgement rather than claim is true recognition.
