No need to do this. Raman was quite correct. Fold is smart enough not to break words! And inside vim you want to do se textwidth=72 that does the same thing. Wonder why you want to fold at 60 characters. The standard is 72. I wonder how to do it in perl/python. I don't have any idea at the top of my mind. I can perhaps spend an hour or two and do something. It is a great way to learn when we tackle such trivial interesting problems with rich real life value. Unfortunately not right now. Maybe later.
