Nice question.

If you have not switched off the machine after installation
then uptime will get you the info in a roundabout way.

You could take a look at several several file which are
never ever touched after install. One possibility is the
timezone file or any of the executables under any of the
standard UNIX paths /usr/bin, /usr/local/bin, /sbin and so
on.

There may be many other ways too I am sure.

This question reminds me of the way Neils Bohr replied
