Hi all,
I tried building and installing VLC 1.0 from source. There is a script
that automatically downloads and installs the dependencies required to
build VLC player. During the installation the script tried to get the
code from a subversion repository and the download failed as I was
behind a firewall and proxy and the subversion repository was in an
outside network.

So I canceled the process, edited my ~/.subversion/servers file to
specify my proxy settings and then tried running the script again. But
still the 'svn co' command to download from an external repository
failed to connect to that repository. How to check out the code from
an external repository in that case?

Thank you.

Regards,
Guruprasad.
