Google is not a search-all. (Neither is bing for that matter). Here is how you would start answering such a question yourself: apt-cache search flash This will, of course, show up a number of applications that are not relevant (debtags is better). But by looking through the list you find can truncate it to something like this: kipi-plugins, bleachbit, flasm, flvtool2, freej, haxe, libming-util, mtasc, ploticus, pyvnc2swf, salasaga, swfmill, swftools, yamdi, warsow You can then run: apt-cache show {pkgname} for each of these pkgname's and figure out that some useful ones are: kipi, flasm, flvtool2, haxe, libming-util, mtasc, ploticus, salasaga, swfmill, yamdi You can further trim these based on your needs or decide that none of these do what you want ( :-( ). _Then_ you can post to the help lists like ilugc asking for more information not neglecting to mention the results of your prior research. The above is meant as "constructive criticism" which you can follow in future. :-) Regards, Kapil. -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email ilugc-requ...@ae.iitm.ac.in with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
