I have received ubuntu 8.04 full repositories in 5 DVDs from zyxware.com
Those 5 DVDs are rocking in kanchipuram where internet is still in a
dream for most people.

The ubuntu in single dvd or cd requires internet even for multimedia.
without net we can not do anything interesting for students and windows people.

But, with these 5 DVDs, people are doing great things here.
They play multiledia, play 3D games, work with inkscape, record TV shows etc.

some people start programming too.

All these are done with entire repositories in these 5 DVDs only.

Now 9.04 is released and i want to spread the new one.
zyxware.com takes 2 months to prepare those DVDs.

I thought, if IITM has a ubuntu mirror, we can get from here itself.
no need to wait for a while.

It will take a long time to download the entire repositories from internet.
But, I think, if we go inside IITM, the ubuntu mirror is like local network.
To copy all repositories will take only some hours.

I don't know whom to contact for this.

Any help from IITM friends is welcome.
