go to open system-->adimninstrator-->sysnaptei manager-->type samba
first installed this package after u changing the smb.ocnf file

Dear Ilugu Friends,
I have first time installed and configure the ubuntu server
edition of 8.10 versions.
I am working local LAN with win98se and win xp. I tried configuring samba
server.
I try to open the sharing folder, use command smbclient – U username
//system name/folder name then it's only open the without password but
password protected that folder cannot open it. It's informed
Smbclient – U username //system name/folder name
Server requested lanman password (share-level security) but client lanman
auth is disabled tree connect failed: success - 0
How to I open the network password protected folder in ubuntu.
Please help me
