Hi all,

I was flying in a Singapore Airlines last week and I was browsing
through their impressive inflight entertainment system. One thing that
interested me was an option to use that as a PC. When I went there, I
saw a office suite in place, when I clicked it, to my surprise it is
Openoffice(well, it is staroffice, powered by openoffice). The
interface was pretty cool, though the system was a bit slow. I just
played around to see what the underlying system was, but I did not see
it. But I think it should be a unix clone may be solaris or linux,
since the window theme had a xfce kind of look.

This is the first time that I am seeing a company using opensource
tools in a system that is going to be used by public.

Thanks,
Siva.
