This works when there are a number of volunteers who can fill each other's roles. My general observation (including LUGs), when there is a call for volunteers most step *back* leaving the one who proposed holding the baton. Good luck explaining all this to MTNL (believe me I have tried upto GM Broadband). Now, I am thankful for little things like my DSL connection initializes and gives me 'Net connection.
