*_Summary:_*

The individual will work as part of an Agile team involving (but not limited to) a Project Manager, Developers, Technical Leads, Business Analysts and Testers to ensure the timely delivery of applications. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): GUI design, application code development, XML schema development, generate/parse XML, execution of unit and acceptance testing, utilization of the automated test infrastructure for the project, and identification of application code and services for reuse.

*_Qualifications:_*

The candidate must possess the following technical experience:

· Minimum 7 years of experience in software development utilizing Java 6 and Enterprise Java technologies.

· Solid experience using Spring MVC framework.

· Experience with Web Services & demonstrated experience in specific technologies including EJB, JMS, JPA, JUnit, SOAP, JAX-WS and XML.

· Solid knowledge of Design Patterns.

· Solid Experience practicing Test First Development Methodology.

· Some experience working with Weblogic Application Server.

· In-depth knowledge of the Application Development Lifecycle.

· At least four years of experience utilizing Oracle/SQL.

· Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques.

*_Desired Skills:_*

· Experience with Agile development methodologies.

· Experience with Maven.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to adapt quickly to new team environment.

_Note:  Recent candidates have been rejected for:_

1. No experience with JUnit.

2. Weak OO concepts.

3. Did not know how to implement an abstract class.
