Application
GreenWashhas been formulated for effectively degreasing engines, parts and
spare parts, floors, etc. The product dissolves oil, grease, bitumen, tar,
pitch, etc.
Green Wash can be used for de-waxing cars, but always check first the
compatibility with the car paint, in order to avoid any discoloration.
Workshops can use this product for cleaning parts with a parts cleaner devise.
Easy to use
GreenWashcan be applied by spraying, brush, or cloth, or by immersion.
The product can be mixed with water to form a milk white emulsion.
Where necessary it can be rinsed with water, drying with a cloth or by
compressed air.
Environmental Problem:
Increased awareness and stricter regulations on the removal of oil and diesel
and the use of hydrocarbon removal solvents is becoming an important safety and
environmental concern to many companies, individuals and countries.
Many hydrocarbon removal compounds used today incorporate petroleum base
solvents -highly toxic, non-biodegradable, non-organic or acid bases to begin
the process of removing hydrocarbon build up. Some removal compounds
incorporate a surfactant, but most have characteristics of a dispersant (moves
oil from one point to another). Most of the solvents on the market today are
becoming increasingly expensive to use on a regular maintenance program.
The Solutions:
GreenWashis a specially-formulated biodegradable, non-hazardous, non-toxic
product designed for the removal of hydrocarbon build-up. This process
increases the bio-avail to naturally bioremediate hydrocarbons.
GreenWashcan be applied to many surfaces i.e.—heavy equipment, concrete, metal
buildings, steel tanks, compressor stations and drilling/work-over rigs.
GreenWashsaves time and money----no expensive solvents, no expensive commercial
absorbents, no messy disposal of absorbents or residue, no special employee
training for handling hazardous acidic solutions.
GreenWashis one of the most cost-effective ways to reduce the buildup of
hydrocarbons.
The Applications:
GreenWashmay be applied by a variety of equipment - hand brushes, pump-up
sprayers or portable pressure washer (150 to 1,200 psi) using heated or fresh
water. To treat tanks, equipment or drilling rigs, start at the top of
oil-soiled area working from side to side until all hydrocarbons are removed.
Work down to the bottom of structure or equipment treating around the bottom to
ensure all contaminates have come in contact with solution. Rinse cleansed
areas with fresh water.
ELIMINATION OF OIL SHEENS. GreenWashwill eliminate oil sheens on wash pits or
storage ponds when applied to surface area with topical spray and slight
agitation.
