14-20 March, 2026
Hosted by CNNIC

# Social Event

Thanks to the generous support of IETF Global Host, Huawei, we are looking
forward to an exceptional social event on Tuesday, 17 March from 1830 to 2230.

The event will take place at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center,
Hall 6, just a five minute walk from the meeting venue. The evening will
feature traditional crafts and interactive experiences, along with a wide
variety of local cuisine. Attendees will also have the opportunity to have the
opportunity to sample a diverse assortment of local alcohol beverages.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues, experience local
traditions firsthand, and take home your own creations from the evening.

Social tickets are available for purchase through your attendee dashboard.
Please note that you must be registered for IETF 125 before purchasing a social
ticket.

# Childcare

Thanks to the generous support of our Diversity and Inclusion Gold sponsors,
Akamai and Huawei, along with our Silver and Bronze Diversity and Inclusion
sponsors, we are excited to offer onsite childcare at IETF 125 in Shenzhen,
China.

Once you have registered for the IETF 125 meeting, the link to the form to sign
up for the childcare services can be found on your attendee dashboard at:

https://registration.ietf.org/participant-dashboard/

This service is offered free of charge to registered onsite IETF meeting
participants with space planned for up to ten children initially. The service
is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and only available via your
attendee dashboard once you register for the meeting, so we strongly encourage
advanced sign up.

We are happy to announce that Rose Event Nannies [1] will be joining us to
provide childcare at IETF 125.

Please note: forms will need to be filled out entirely in advance to confirm
your child(ren)’s participation. Additional information regarding timing and
