This document is the product of the Drone Remote ID Protocol Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Erik Kline and Éric Vyncke. A URL of this Internet-Draft is: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-drip-registries/ Technical Summary This document describes the discovery and management of DRIP Entity Tags (DETs) in DNS. Authoritative Name Servers, with DRIP specific DNS structures and standard DNS methods, are the Public Information Registries for DETs and their related metadata. Working Group Summary The document has no controversy. The WG has a limited number of participants. Consensus has been reach within this limited number of participants. Document Quality No full implementation known to the responsible AD. There have been reviews by IANA and the DNS / SEC directorates during the IETF Last Call. Personnel The Document Shepherd for this document is Daniel Migault. The Responsible Area Director is Éric Vyncke. IANA Note IANA has several actions as noted in [IANA #1416854]. The most important and unusual one is about 3.0.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa. domain delegation (the reverse zone for DRIP Entity Tag = IPv6 address). It also requests IANA to create 2 new registries "DRIP RAA Allocations" and "HHIT Entity Type" under the DRIP registry group. _______________________________________________ IETF-Announce mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
