The IESG has received a request from the Supply Chain Integrity, Transparency, and Trust WG (scitt) to consider the following document: - 'An Architecture for Trustworthy and Transparent Digital Supply Chains' <draft-ietf-scitt-architecture-18.txt> as Proposed Standard
The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send substantive comments to the [email protected] mailing lists by 2025-08-29. Exceptionally, comments may be sent to [email protected] instead. In either case, please retain the beginning of the Subject line to allow automated sorting. Abstract Traceability in supply chains is a growing security concern. While verifiable data structures have addressed specific issues, such as equivocation over digital certificates, they lack a universal architecture for all supply chains. This document proposes a scalable architecture for single-issuer signed statement transparency applicable to any supply chain. It ensures flexibility, interoperability between different transparency services, and compliance with various auditing procedures and regulatory requirements. The file can be obtained via https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-scitt-architecture/ No IPR declarations have been submitted directly on this I-D. _______________________________________________ IETF-Announce mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
