On behalf of the IETF, the IAB appoints three representatives to the Community Coordination Group (CCG), which provides advice and guidance to the IETF Trust in matters related to the IANA trademarks and the IANA domain names. The process for appointing these representatives is outlined in RFC 8090 [1].
This year, the IAB will select two people for two-year terms beginning in August 2025. The IAB recently requested nominations for the CCG[2] and is now soliciting comments from the community on these candidates: • Russ Housley (incumbent)[3] • Barry Leiba (incumbent)[4] • John Levine[5] Please send your remarks in confidence about any or all candidates to [email protected] and [email protected] by Wednesday 2025-07-09 at 23:59 AOE. We thank you in advance for your help.
