All -
The first of 4 big V-15 regattas around Long Island Sound kicks off this
weekend (June 27-8) at Cedar Point YCin Westport CT, just off I-95 Exit 17. A
large fleet (30+ boats) is expected, and the highlight will be a steak dinner
and large social gathering Saturday night. Registration Saturday morning will
be open until 11:30am, with the skippers' meeting at noon. With no starts
after 3:30pm Sunday, we'll be done early enough for everyone to get home before
it's too late. For those who may need accommodation, we have a special deal
arranged at the Norwalk Doubletree Inn, while rooms last. For further info,
see the CPYC website (www.cedarpointyc.org) or contact regatta chair Jamie
Ewing (jewing[at]aya.yale.edu).
The weather forecast looks like we might actually have nice conditions this
weekend, so don't miss a moment of this interminably postponed summer - come
sail with us at CPYC!
Cheers
Jamie
