Notice of Race Entry Fee To cover expenses of lodging and food, a fee of $10 per person will be collected. Please note, this fee is subject to change depending on actual costs. Rules The Regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the ICSA Procedural Rules and the Sailing Instructions. Format Depending on number of teams, the regatta will consist of one or more round robins followed by a championship and consolidation round. Boats 12 V-15s will be provided. Location The racing will take place on Orcas Island at West Sound. Schedule Saturday, February 28, 2009 Report Time 9:30 AM Skipper's Meeting 10:00 AM First Race 10:30 AM Sunday, March 1, 2009 Report Time 9:30 AM First Race 10:00 AM No Racing After 3:00 PM Housing We will be renting out the Camp Moran facility on Orcas Island Friday through Sunday. If you sent a request for housing before 1/28 you will be receiving an email conformation confirming your housing request. Camp Moran is 25 min. from the sailing site on West Sound. Transportation For Washington State Ferry information please consult: <http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/>. If you present a signed letter on school letterhead, teams will only have to pay for the vehicle and a two dollar flat fee. It is possible to make reservations for the return ferry trip, this is highly recommended and more information will be provided at the skippers meeting on Saterday. Food Continental breakfast will be provided Sat. and Sun. morning. Pasta dinner will be provided Sat. night. Information * Please note that this regatta is likely to be very cold.
