From someone who sailed on a club team, this rule seems to just make
more expense for them. It was already a huge challenge for us to make
it to Intersectionals and a large portion of the travel money came out
of our pockets. Making this a requirement for all Intersectionals
will just make it more of an expense for the smaller teams. I can see
it being a good idea for NAs and big championships, but please keep
the "little guys" in mind. Intersectionals were where I honed my
skills and really got fast.

Rashgaurds generally go under lifejackets. They are meant to fit close to
the body. Rashguards were first used as a surfing layer. Large T shirts
maybe?

Kevin:

Almost all of the 29er-49er-505 Guys are wearing a rash guard or DryGuard
over their entire outfit including the harness with a slot cut out for the trap
hook. Same thing for the Kite Board guys.
