Team Racers,

Please note that this year's US Team Racing Championship will 8-10 September
and in beautiful San Diego. In fact, racing will be downtown with great
opportunity to check out all Southern California has to offer.

The plan for racing is for a tow of boats by competitors to the downtown
location Friday morning (those not racing first will be able to ride down on
a SDYC host yachts or drive down on their own).

The racing venue will be adjacent to a large pier with tables and tents to
accommodate those not sailing. The pier is connected to downtown parking
and the rotation dock in also connected to the pier. The pier will serve as
a central location for rotation, relaxation, and spectating.

Boats will remain at the downtown location throughout the event.
Competitors will be ferried back to SDYC or may drive their own vehicles at
the end of Friday and Saturday. Upon completion of racing on Sunday,
competitors in boats will be towed back to SDYC.

SDYC has put a lot of thought and preparation into this event and it should
be AWESOME.
