Hi Assaf,

Thanks very much for your response. I'll use IRC or the forum for future
inquries.

The change you suggested makes sense. However, after making those
changes, restarting the Icinga2 process, and rebooting the LittleTown
router, Icinga2 still sends notifications for LittleTown hosts behind
the router.

There were notifications for different sets of hosts on two reboots, but
this might just be a timing thing.

Is there anything else I should be looking into or changing?

If it matters, the server runs Icinga2 2.11.3 and icingaweb2 2.7.3 on
FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p6.

Thanks again!

dn

apply Dependency "LittleTown" to Host {
  parent_host_name = "LittleTown.int.example.com"
  disable_checks = true
  disable_notifications = true

  assign where host.notes == "LittleTown" && host.name !=
"LittleTown.int.example.com"
}
