I have 40+ Oracle Linux 6.9 servers running UEK R4 (4.1.12-103.9.4.el6uek.x86_64). Icinga2 client is at 2.9.0-1.el6.icinga.
Last night (this morning really) the icinga client on three of the servers failed. I am not seeing any messages in any of the icinga logs but I do see the following in /var/log/messages: Aug 15 03:01:14 troubleSomeServer1 kernel: [7396627.346055] traps: icinga2[18969] trap stack segment ip:c277c7 sp:7ffdf21540d0 error:0 in i cinga2 (deleted)[400000+cc1000] Aug 15 03:05:57 troubleSomeServer2 kernel: [7395975.019082] traps: icinga2[61276] trap stack segment ip:c277c7 sp:7fff03da3770 error:0 in icinga2 (deleted)[400000+cc1000] Aug 15 01:26:54 troubleSomeServer3 kernel: [7389949.102396] traps: icinga2[32060] general protection ip:36b9ce6295 sp:7f0fb06e2e20 error: 0 in libcrypto.so.1.0.1e[36b9c00000+1ba000] Manually restarting the client (service icinga2 restart) recovers. I am not a developer so maybe I'm overlooking something obvious.
