Not immediately but we are aware of that feature request, it is also most liked on github.com/icinga/icinga-packaging I’ve heard from a similar customer request a while ago, but no updates here as far as I know. > > Since debmon.org disappeared, it's no longer even possible to install an > older > version of Icinga on a Raspberry, never mind keep existing installations up > to > date. Well, compiling from source is an option. Although I agree, packages are nicer. > > I'm just wondering whether there's a policy on this - can we expect to get > support for ARM architectures back again sometime? It is the thing with open source - you do everything you can to make both users and customers happy. There’s many different flavours and opinions around which feature is the most important one, be it IPv6, Armhf, Cluster-Staging-Config-Sync, Reporting for Icinga Web 2, etc. I agree that we should have everything at some point, for now those providing full time resources on Icinga are mostly working on the new backend solving the Reporting request and many more things all and around Icinga (Web and Distributed) (that is, my employer). In terms of armhf, I’ve seen attempts by community members preparing the build scripts and whatnot. This is well received by the team, making a future integration into the build server easier. Still, if you know a customer who is able to sponsor time and resources for armhf packages, get in touch at i...@icinga.com and discuss sponsoring these packages. Not only you but everyone else out there waiting.
