could be but the documentation says for the $asdfasd$ variant that "Macros can be used to access other objects’ attributes at runtime." https://www.icinga.com/docs/icinga2/latest/doc/03-monitoring-basics/#runtime-macros So this variant is probably also evaluated at runtime. Greetings Tobias
