Hello,
How do I get items imported from CSV with fileshipper to be seen as
host objects?
As an old school Nagios user I'm having some issues adjusting to
Icinga2.
I set up the the fileshipper module and configured a new datasource. It
successfully reads the CSV. I also added a modifier to translate
'fqdn' to 'address' by DNS. The preview shows the correct data.
[root@icinga2 icinga2]# cat /var/cache/various_files/hosts.csv
"display_name","fqdn"
"myhost","myhost.be"
For some reasons I thought icinga would now start to monitor that host.
But it isn't doing that.
Clearly I forgot to do something! But what?
I'm using the vagrant box. I only installed the fileshipper module. I
also added a host manually and that one is being monitored.
This is my first go at icinga2 so please bare with me.
