Hi.

Is it possible to run more than one Icingaweb2 instance on a single machine
(under different URLs and with different authentication) to avoid having to set
up two (physically, or virtually) separate servers?

Here's my situation:

I have one Master server, doing Top-Down Config Sync management of three
satellite servers, each monitoring their own bunch of machines local to them.

Icingaweb2 is installed on all four of the above machines. I can see the
master, with all the monitoring data, and the network admins of each of the
three satellite zones can see the monitoring for their own areas (but not the
others).

Now I want to monitor another set of machines, which are spread widely across
the Internet - they don't neatly fall into a single network, where I could
install another satellite and let it monitor the "local" machines.

So, the Master is as good a place as any to monitor these servers from, but I
don't want the network admins for those machines to see all the others which
I'm also monitoring via the satellites.

So, it is possible to set up a new Zone, into which I place the widely-spread
servers, and then have an instance of Icingaweb2 running on the Master, which
can only see this Zone, and not all the other satellite machines (and their
clients) too?

Any ideas for achieving the above are welcome.

Maybe there's a way of creating users in Icingaweb2 with restricted visibility
of the machines being monitored?
