The Icinga Director only creates configuration objects. Those host and service
objects execute a check command resp. a plugin. This plugin returns performance
data.

Icinga 2 parses the performance data into a structure and the InfluxDB feature
generates a valid HTTP request fired the InfluxDB REST API.

If I were you I would turn on the debug log and check the performance data is
being written to InfluxDB. On the other hand, tcpdump the HTTP request or
enable the logs on the InfluxDB side.

If there are none, I’d check whether the host/service object has
enable_perfdata set to false.

Kind regards,
Michael
