Hi folks, About six months ago, I set up a distributed configuration using this page as a guide -- https://wiki.icinga.org/display/howtos/Icinga2+Distributed+Cluster+Install+with+CentOS+6
It's working great, with a single master and 2 child zones in different network spaces. From the child zones, I'm executing check_wmi_plus wmic queries to monitor Windows hosts. I'd like to switch those wmic queries for locally installed icinga2 agents on the Windows hosts but I'm not 100% sure how to go about doing that. Do I need to add ticket salts to constants.conf on the satellites, then register each Windows icinga2 agent to the satellite endpoint in their respective zone? In other words, I'm attempting to achieve "15.8.1. Cluster with Master, Satellites and Remote Clients" but am hung up on how the connectivity works for the remote Windows clients.
