I'm trying to make a template host where I define the zone where the checks for that host will happen. There is the "Cluster Zone" setting but that says it's for the config deployment and even if I set it to the right zone, the "zone value of a host created with that template is always the master one ( zone: "core" in my case )
I tried adding a field but that adds " vars.zone = "zone01" " and not the zone only field. Is it possible to set the zone for the check source with director or do I have to set it up manually with an API call? It kind of reduce my use case of Director of having pre-defined template for each zone where people will be able to create a host with that template and be done with it. -- Pascal Larivée Senior IT Architecture & Cloud Ops Engineer Internap
